Too Hot!
Last week it was TOO HOT here.We're rainforest kitties and aren't used to the hot hot temperatures. We were doing anything we could to try and stay cool. Zephyr stretched himself out on the tile on the bathroom floor and just stayed there for days and I tried out every possible position and place to try and catch a breeze. The catbed was WAY TOO HOT, but I did find this pile of boxes which just happened to be dead centre under a fan. It was hard to get comfy, but it was a little cooler. We're all glad the cool temperatures are back - the Door Opener and I are less crabby and Zephyr is a little more zippy.

It has been crazy hot here in Houston, Texas. I can barely stand it. I have been doing the same things as Zephr and you: sleeping on tiles, cool shelves, and even making my way to the bathroom to lay down! I hope we get some cool weather soon...maybe you could send some down here!

Patches Lady
It is a bit cooler here too, still sunny and warm but quite nice in the low 70s instead of being much hotter like it was a week or two ago. I spent a lot of time on the kitchen floor as it is the coolest floor in the house.
Empress, do you live near Van-coo-vur? Our Mom was there for a few days on her vacation and she really liked it. She mentioned trying to find a job there so that we could live there too. We don't want to move though since we looked the city up on Mapquest and realized that we would have to be in our carriers for a really long time. Maybe your fleshies could talk our Mom out of it!
The Monsters
Our peeps try to talk people out of moving to British Columbia all the time! Perhaps they're being selfish because they think it's expensive enough to live here as it is, and they don't want it to get too crowded. So they tell people it rains here all year long. Which a lot of people already believe anyway, so it's a good fib.
