I absolutely love to help with projects. The girl has been very busy lately and I've been helping her a lot. She always says I'm very helpful, but then she makes me move. That's a little confusing for me, so I just ignore her and get right back up and get ready to do my part. I'm not quite sure what we're making here, but I'm doing a fabulous job of holding down the fabric and adding some extremely special cat fur embellishments.

It's really nice of you to help your mom, and Derby's right about the colors.
Good job, Musette - what pretty fabric. We'd love to see what it is when you (and the girl) are finished with it! Is it a pillow or a cat bed?? Nala and I love pink. Our fur looks beautiful on it, plu we can tell Moose to get lost because it's a GIRL color. :-)

Just be careful not to run with scissors. It's hard enough to hold them in your paw securely--without opposable thumbs. Running just ups the risk.
It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye...
Those scissors mock The Empress in their utilitarian uselessness to me. The things I could do with them if only I could hold them properly.
I hate those scissors.
