My Christmas Gift To You

Many a PHD thesis has been written on the greatness of The Jingle Cats, and I don't have anything new to add to the discourse. So here's a song from their sophomore album that encapsulates The Jingle Cats at their best. "Here Comes Santa Claus" is a jaunty tune that avoids the maudlin sentimentality of the few mediocre songs in the Jingle Cats oeuvre. It even has a verse or two of "Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel" in the middle! Why? I don't know! I do know that I would prefer that that part wasn't sung by a dog. Jerk probably strong-armed his way into the studio. But it's still a classic tune.
